Coming Out Stories originated after speaking to a friend about our individual experience coming out to someone for the first time. Even though our stories were very different, it somehow still felt relatable. I then decided to interview LGBTQ individuals from different parts of the world about their experiences, took their portrait, and had them handwrite the essence of their story.
